Volleyball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Takes a Loss

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was the 2-0 winner over Union County when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Panthers on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-21.

Ajla Rizvic paced Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's offense, picking up seven kills. Rizvic got some help from Montana Noblitt and her five assists.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Union County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

Coincidentally, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and Union County will both be playing Ringgold the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
