            Baseball Preview: Tolono Unity Rockets vs. Clinton Maroons        
        
		
        
        
            The Tolono Unity Rockets are taking a road trip to  take on the Clinton Maroons  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Tolono Unity is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 14  runs  on Monday, they were much more limited against Mahomet-Seymour  on Tuesday. They lost  11-1 to the Bulldogs. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 Tolono Unity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Coleton Langendorf, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1.
Clinton kicked off their season on the road  on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against  Delavan, falling  12-6.
  Brock Wilson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Manning, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Everything went Tolono Unity's way against Clinton when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Tolono Unity made off with  a  14-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tolono Unity since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
