Baseball Recap: West Mesquite Wranglers vs. Samuell Spartans
West Mesquite got themselves on the board against Samuell on Friday, but Samuell never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Spartans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 on Tuesday.
West Mesquite got a big performance out of Damian Tovar, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Tovar a new career-high. David Sanchez Maya also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
