Baseball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

After flying high against Floyd Central on Thursday, Jasper came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell just short of the Northeast Dubois Jeeps by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jeeps apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jasper now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northeast Dubois, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Jasper has already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Greencastle on the 12th. As for Northeast Dubois, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Paoli on the 12th.
