Lukas Beltran posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
