Volleyball Recap: Wynot's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Wynot came tearing into Tuesday's match with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Wausa Vikings 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Wynot not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wausa between 16 and 19 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19, 25-17.

Leading Wynot to victory were Kiera Heimes and Jaylin Geisen. Heimes had eight digs, while Geisen had four digs and two assists.

Wynot was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive contests.

Wynot's win bumped their record up to 27-4. As for Wausa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.

Wynot will be playing at home against Paxton at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wausa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
