Shipley had to endure a 13-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Timber Creek Regional Chargers by a score of 64-55 on Sunday. Shipley's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Shipley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jack Naegle out in front who went 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Naegle a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Rassmussen, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds.

Shipley was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Shipley's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Timber Creek Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Shipley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gloucester Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Timber Creek Regional, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Rancocas Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
