Basketball Recap: Dodge County Indians vs. Dublin Fighting Irish
Dodge County suffered their biggest defeat since January 4th on Friday. They came up short against the Dublin Fighting Irish, falling 67-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-50 last Saturday.
Leading Dublin to victory were Aj Johnson and Tristian Bell. Johnson went 10 for 16 to rack up 28 points and eight rebounds, while Bell went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points and seven assists. Johnson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Tyrese Robinson was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.
Dodge County's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Dublin, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-4.
