Erwin put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Avery County Vikings get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. Considering Erwin have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Avery County from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Junior Rodriguez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Erwin's win bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Avery County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erwin will welcome Mountain Heritage at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Avery County, they will face off against Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
