Soccer Game Preview: Milton vs. Navarre

The Milton Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Navarre Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Milton's offense. They came up short against Pace on Thursday, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Navarre had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Tornadoes a 2-0 shutout. The Raiders' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Navarre has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those nine games. As for Milton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-2.
