Soccer Recap: West Warwick Comes Up Short

If West Warwick was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Woonsocket on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wizards fell just short of the Cranston East Thunderbolts by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. West Warwick were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Cranston East earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

West Warwick's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Cranston East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Warwick will head out to square off against East Greenwich at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cranston East, they will venture away from home to take on Woonsocket at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
