Basketball Recap: Indian River Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Indian River had taken Laurel down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Indians fell 41-34 to the Bulldogs. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 35-27.

When it comes to explaining why Indian River lost, don't look at Tiarra Waters. Despite the final result, she dropped a triple-double with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and ten steals. Waters continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abigal Bertling, who posted five points and eight boards.

This is the second loss in a row for Indian River and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for Laurel, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-10 record.
