Baseball Recap: Mica Mountain Find Success

Mica Mountain took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Ironwood Ridge, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Mica Mountain had just enough and edged out Ironwood Ridge 12-10. With that win, the Thunderbolts brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Mica Mountain got a massive performance out of Elijah Higuera, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Mica Mountain is undefeated when Higuera posts two or more runs, but 2-8-1 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Johnny Nyman, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
