Recap: Fisher Catholic Irish vs. Waterford Wildcats

If the Fisher Catholic Irish were riding high off their 53-13 takedown of the Madison Christian Eagles last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fisher Catholic's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2. As for Waterford, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Fisher Catholic will challenge Wellington School at 7:30 p.m. on January 6th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Wellington School: 27, Fisher Catholic: 27.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Waterford will finish 2023 at home by hosting South Gallia at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
