Volleyball Recap: Apollo Falls to Royalton in First Game of Season

Apollo unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Royalton Royals on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

The win (which was Royalton's sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Apollo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Milaca on the 22nd. As for Royalton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Pierz on the 22nd.
