Basketball Recap: Jarret Mauvais Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Sheridan Hills Christian

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but FAU High ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 60-56 W over the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-35 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead FAU High to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jarret Mauvais, who posted 17 points. Mauvais is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Shepherd Britton was another key player, putting up 16 points.

When it comes to explaining why Sheridan Hills Christian lost, don't look at Abraham Seay. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 14 on his way to 20 points along with six assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Dreyson Crynes, who put up 14 points.

FAU High is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Sheridan Hills Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
