Staunton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Riverheads recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Storm will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. Staunton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.8 goals per game this season.

Staunton took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Waynesboro by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for Staunton in their matchups with Waynesboro: they've now won nine in a row.

Staunton hit Waynesboro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ashton Barrett, Marc Geffrard, and Joshua Bryant.

Meanwhile, Riverheads can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They and Stonewall Jackson finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for Riverheads as the team haven't won a game since April 22nd.

Staunton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 47 goals over those five contests. Riverheads' draw makes their record 1-11-1 this season.
