Softball Recap: Littlefield Wildcats vs. Brownfield Cubs        
        
		
            
 Littlefield was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They fell  16-13 to the Brownfield Cubs. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
  Alyssa Torres and  Brianna Aleman stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Torres  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Aleman  went 5-for-5 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Brinley Acevedo, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Littlefield  lost a few balls and  finished the game with four  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Littlefield's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Brownfield, their win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-12.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Muleshoe the next time they take the field. Littlefield will head out to face Muleshoe at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday, while Brownfield will head out to face them  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
