Basketball Recap: Woodlake's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Woodlake waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Orange Cove Titans by a score of 65-58. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 61-43 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Woodlake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden McWilliams out in front who posted 14 points. Marcos Hernandez was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Woodlake's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Orange Cove, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Woodlake will be home for the holidays to greet Summit Charter Collegiate Academy at 4:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Orange Cove, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-31 win against Avenal on the 9th.
