After a string of seven wins, Joshua Springs Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Chapel Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the Lightning's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Joshua Springs Christian couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Desert Chapel a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 24-26, 29-27, 25-19.

Joshua Springs Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Desert Chapel, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Joshua Springs Christian and Desert Chapel will both be playing Noli Indian the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Lightning will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
