Basketball Recap: Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Takes a Loss

Rural Vista [Hope/White City] lost against Blue Valley back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rural Vista [Hope/White City] Heat took a blow against the Blue Valley Rams, falling 53-20.

Kaimey Evans was Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s leading scorer, having posted eight points. Liliana Stilwell held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Clara Noeth took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Rural Vista [Hope/White City]'s defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Blue Valley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centre at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. After both having extra time off, Blue Valley and Onaga will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
