Softball Game Preview: Exeter Blue Hawks vs. Spaulding Red Raiders

The Exeter Blue Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Spaulding Red Raiders at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Exeter didn't have quite enough to beat Merrimack and fell 5-4.

Meanwhile, Spaulding came up short against Pinkerton on Monday, falling 9-2. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Exeter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Spaulding, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Exeter couldn't quite get it done against Spaulding when the teams last played back in May of 2025 as they fell 4-0. Can the Blue Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
