Baseball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Barracudas from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Trinity Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richaun Amaro, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Amaro is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New Smyrna Beach, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will challenge Lake Mary Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for New Smyrna Beach, they will take on Lake Mary at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
