Football Recap: South Hardin's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

South Hardin put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Eagle Grove Eagles as they made off with a 42-16 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

South Hardin was led to victory by Kameron Adams and Peyton Welch. Adams rushed for 183 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, while Welch threw for 206 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes. With that strong performance, Adams is now averaging an impressive 106.8 rushing yards per game.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Hardin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 151 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

South Hardin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Casey Williamson and Sam Benson.

South Hardin's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Eagle Grove, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
