Baseball Preview: Hoggard Vikings vs. Myers Park Mustangs
The Hoggard Vikings will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Myers Park Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Hoggard fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against West Bladen on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by just one run.
Hoggard got a good showing from Jake Kinlaw, who tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
