The Cape Fear Colts will venture away from home to face off against the Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cape Fear took a loss when they played away from home last Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Ashley.

Cape Fear was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 24-26, 25-17.

Cardinal Gibbons extended their home winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Player #9. The Crusaders blew past Fuquay - Varina 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Player #9, who had 11 digs and four aces. Player #9 is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cardinal Gibbons took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-11.
