Baseball Recap: Huntley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central on Wednesday, Huntley came back down to earth. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Red Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

Huntley's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Central, their record is now 16-14.

Coming up, Huntley will be playing at home against Lake Zurich at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Glenbrook South at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
