Football Recap: Douglas Trojans vs. Brookings-Harbor Bruins
Douglas had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Brookings-Harbor Bruins as they made off with a 35-14 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Trojans just coasted through the last quarter.

Douglas got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryder Sawyer out in front who threw for 255 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 72 yards. The Trojans are 4-2 when Sawyer posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Douglas' leading receiver Reese Willis was Sawyer's top target yet again, picking up 130 receiving yards and three scores.

Douglas now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Brookings-Harbor, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
