Basketball Recap: Ledyard Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tourtellotte last Friday, Ledyard came back down to earth. The Ledyard Colonels were outmatched by the Griswold Wolverines and fell 78-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 81-64 back in January.

Ledyard's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Griswold, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Ledyard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Griswold, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Montville at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Griswold's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
