Volleyball Game Preview: Boone Braves vs. Olympia Titans

The Boone Braves will challenge the Olympia Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Boone will be strutting in after a victory while Olympia will be coming in after a loss.

While Boone's win against Oak Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Braves won by a set and slipped past the Pioneers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since April 20, 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Jonah Folks, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Folks wasn't the only good server: Boone was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. The Braves are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seminole.

Olympia's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Boone, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Everything went Boone's way against Olympia when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Boone made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
