Volleyball Recap: Leander Takes a Loss

Leander lost against Reagan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Rattlers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maya Patel paced Leander's offense, picking up six kills. Patel got some help from Emma Davis and her three assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leander's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Reagan, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Leander has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against O'Connor on the 22nd. As for Reagan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Antonian Prep on the 22nd.
