Volleyball Recap: Godinez Fundamental Comes Up Short

After flying high against Santa Ana Valley on Thursday, Godinez Fundamental came back down to earth. The Grizzlies came up short against the Fullerton Indians on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Grizzlies were not able to get on the board.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-12.

The defeat snapped Godinez Fundamental's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Fullerton, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Godinez Fundamental will host Westminster at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fullerton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Segerstrom at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
