Volleyball Game Preview: Deweyville Pirates vs. West Hardin Oilers

The Deweyville Pirates will take on the West Hardin Oilers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Deweyville is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Deweyville came up short against Sabine Pass and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, West Hardin lost 3-0 to Danbury on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-9.

West Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Deweyville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-15.

Deweyville skirted past West Hardin 3-2 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Oilers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
