Volleyball Recap: Walker Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Walker lost against Mount Paran Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolverines fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Walker was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21.

Tyla Vogan paced Walker's offense, picking up eight kills. Vogan got some help from Samantha Baty and her 19 assists. Sofia Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Kelsie Moran was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Walker has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 24-14 record this season. As for Mount Paran Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Walker and Mount Paran Christian will both be playing Northview the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
