Football Game Preview: Hankinson Pirates vs. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials + How To Watch

The Hankinson Pirates will challenge the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hankinson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter likes a good challenge.

Hankinson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They breezed past North Prairie co-op [Rolla/Rolette] to the tune of 38-8. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won six contests by 30 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter faced Alexander in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Imperials enjoyed a cozy 36-22 win over Alexander. Winning may never get old, but the Imperials sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Hankinson's record now sits at 8-1. As for Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter, their record is now 7-2.

Hankinson couldn't quite get it done against Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter when the teams last played back in October of 2017 as they fell 21-14. Can the Pirates avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
