Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). Everything went their way against the Liberty Magnet Patriots on Tuesday as Central made off with a 27-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Central is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. Liberty Magnet is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
