Softball Recap: East Prairie Eagles vs. Bernie Mules
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portageville, East Prairie was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bernie Mules 7-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as East Prairie also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.
Harper Marshall was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run. Ella Dunn was another key contributor, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and a double.
East Prairie's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Bernie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.
