Volleyball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

Greenville entered their contest against Bloomfield on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bears lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ariel West paced Greenville's offense, picking up 12 kills. West got some help from Poppy King and her 12 assists. Heidi Rogers controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Bloomfield, the win snapped their losing streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Greenville will head out to challenge Ellington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomfield, they will square off against Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
