Softball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Falls Short of Steele in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pharr-San Juan-Alamo can now relate to. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steele Knights on Saturday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bears, who until this matchup were averaging 2.42 runs allowed.

Arianna Lugo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-3. Aubrey Garza was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
