Basketball Recap: Stockdale Comes Up Short

Stockdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 49-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yorktown Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Brahmas have lost by exactly ten points.

Despite the loss, Stockdale still got an impressive performance from Devian Rivera, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 14 points and six boards.

Stockdale's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Yorktown, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Stockdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Geneva at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yorktown, they will take on Nixon-Smiley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
