Liberty is 10-0 against Van since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Liberty Raiders just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Van Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Liberty will be strutting in after a victory while Van will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Liberty didn't have too much trouble with Midland Trail as they won 48-30.

Meanwhile, Van was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Calhoun on the road by a 55-41 margin.

Liberty's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Van, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Liberty against Van in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 79-38 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
