Josh Flores put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).

Flores' strong effort led Lake Central over Chesterton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are 9-1 against the Trojans going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
