Softball Recap: Lansdowne Takes a Loss

Lansdowne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 22-9 to the Sparrows Point Pointers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pointers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lansdowne now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Sparrows Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lansdowne and Sparrows Point will both be playing Parkville the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Pointers will host them at 4:00 a.m. on Friday.
