If GALA was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of View Park on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Goddesses received a blow on Thursday as they fell 31-12 to the Marshall Barristers. The Goddesses' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jaylin Macias continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Marshall, throwing for 199 yards and three TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground. What's more, Macias racked up 130.1 passer rating, the most she's had since back in August. Alexa Guerrero made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

GALA's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-1. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, GALA and Marshall will both be playing Hamilton the next time they take the field. The Goddesses will head out to face the Yankees at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Barristers will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
