Volleyball Recap: Granger Lancers vs. Layton Lancers

Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Layton.

Kj Faaome paced Granger's offense, picking up eight kills. Faaome got some help from Ky Hoang and his seven assists.

Layton can attribute much of their success to Andy Page, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Page has posted over his last seven games.

Granger's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Layton, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-11.

Granger didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Woods Cross on the 19th. As for Layton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Grantsville on the 19th.
