Flag Football Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lathrop can now relate to. They and the Placer Hillmen were almost perfectly matched up on Monday, but they suffered a 7-6 loss. Despite 75 more yards than the Hillmen, the Spartans couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Lathrop's loss came despite strong showings from JaLeiyah Ray and Luz De Luna. Ray picked up 98 receiving yards and one score, while De Luna threw for 190 yards and one touchdown.

The defeat snapped Lathrop's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 18-4 record. As for Placer, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Lathrop does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Placer, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 20-12 loss against Del Campo on the 5th.
