Basketball Recap: Montgomery County Takes a Loss

Montgomery County came up into this matchup off a tough 58-point loss last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the New Haven Shamrocks by a score of 27-25 on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-34 back in December of 2024.

Montgomery County now has a losing record at 8-9. As for New Haven, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Montgomery County will head out to square off against Van-Far at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Montgomery County is facing Van-Far at the right time seeing as Van-Far is stuck on a six-game losing streak. New Haven has already played their next matchup (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
