Massena and Franklin Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2022, but likely not for long. The Raiders will take on the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Meanwhile, Franklin Academy had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Potsdam on Wednesday. That looming 12-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Huskies yet this season.

Camden Fleury made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Fleury was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Hall, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Merick Meacham, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Franklin Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for Massena, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Massena skirted past Franklin Academy 11-10 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
