Baseball Recap: Leadership Academy Falcons vs. Cornerstone Charter Cardinals

It was a good run, but Leadership Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals by a score of 6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Leadership Academy of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April.

Chase Jenkins was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. Jenkins was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
