Volleyball Recap: Indianapolis Shortridge Falls Short of Herron in the Playoffs

Indianapolis Shortridge and Herron squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Indianapolis Shortridge had to settle for second. They came up short against the Achaeans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Achaeans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Friday.

Eddie Ramirez had a dynamite game For Herron., getting 17 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Ramirez has posted over his last five contests.

This is the second loss in a row for Indianapolis Shortridge and nudges their season record down to 13-6. As for Herron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Indianapolis Shortridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Herron, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Christel House on the 15th.
